PM Modi’s rally today in Churu, JP Nadda’s in Haridwar
New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hold a rally for BJP candidate Devendra Jhajharia in Churu, Rajasthan on Friday at around 12:30 pm. Senior leaders including Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, State BJP President CP Joshi will participate in the rally. Jhajharia is contesting against Rahul Kaswan of Congress. Major political events happening across the country today: BJP President JP Nadda will address a public meeting in Haridwar on Friday for party candidate Trivendra Singh Rawat. The BJP chief will hold a road show from Haridwar’s Aryanagar Chowk to Rishikul Maidan, after which he will also address a public meeting. Before holding the rally, he will offer prayers at Maya Devi Temple in Haridwar, after which the BJP President will talk to the sages and saints there and seek their blessings. Congress will release its manifesto for the Lok Sabha elections on Friday. The party has said that it will give 25 ‘guarantees’ to the people of the country. Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge and Wayanad MP Rahul Gandhi will release the manifesto. Jharkhand Chief Minister Champai Soren will preside over the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) legislature party meeting on Friday. After the meeting JMM can announce the names of candidates for the Lok Sabha elections. The Congress Central Election Committee (CEC) meeting is scheduled to be held on Friday evening, in which the names of possible candidates for nine Lok Sabha seats in Haryana and three seats in Delhi will also be discussed. The list of candidates may be released after the meeting. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will address the ‘Vijay Shankhnad’ rally in Baghpat on Friday afternoon, which will also be attended by RLD chief Chaudhary Jayant Singh. After Baghpat, the Chief Minister will go to Gabhana tehsil of Aligarh at around 2 pm and address a public meeting there. Union Minister Nitin Gadkari will address a public meeting in Gadchiroli district of Maharashtra on Friday. He will hold a public meeting in Desaiganj at 11 am and in Chamorshi at around 1.30 pm. Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak will address the conference of Lok Sabha volunteers in Barabanki on Friday. Central Congress President Jitu Patwari will participate in various election related programs in Indore, Dewas, Ujjain and Ratlam districts on Friday.
