Police arrested 2 interstate smugglers smuggling illegal ganja

Pithora: Singhoda police station has taken major action on illegal marijuana smuggling. Police has arrested 2 interstate smugglers smuggling illegal ganja. 1 quintal 50 kg ganja kept in 150 packets has been seized from the accused, whose value is said to be Rs 42,50,000.

Police checked vehicles at Rehtikhol check naka under Singhoda police station area of Mahasamund district. During this, 1 quintal 50 kg hemp kept in 150 packets was found in a white colored car. Both the accused are residents of Madhya Pradesh’s Ujjain. A total of Rs 42,50,000 ganja has been recovered from the possession of the accused.
