Police arrested the driver who absconded with the owner’s Rs 65 lakh

Panipat: Police has arrested the driver who absconded with Rs 65 lakh belonging to his own boss. Police have also recovered Rs 64 lakh 96 thousand from his possession. According to the information, the accused driver was working as a driver for Chhote Lal contractor Pankaj Goyal. On February 26, contractor Pankaj had gone to Delhi with Rs 65 lakh in connection with business.
Due to lack of work there, he came to his house in the evening with the money, after which the driver dropped Malik in front of the house and ran away with the Fortuner car along with the money. The very next day of the incident, the police recovered the Fortuner vehicle, which had cash worth Rs 2.5 lakh. The police was conducting raids in search of the accused. After which the accused has been arrested by the police.
