Police arrested the youth who had kidnapped the minor
Raigarh raigarh news. The Pusaur police team which went to Jammu in search of the missing girl from Pusaur area has been successful in finding the missing girl, along with this the youth who kidnapped the minor has been arrested by the police and sent on remand.
According to the information of Pusaur Police, earlier on the morning of 02 February the girl had gone somewhere without informing anyone in the house, on the search the girl was not found by the family, on 04 February the girl’s father lodged a report in the Pusaur police station, on the report, Crime No. 41/2024 Section 363 IPC was registered against the unknown accused and the girl was searched for, on the information that she was in Jammu the girl was brought from Jammu and recovered. In her statement, the girl said that Bhekhlal Patel (32 years) of village Parsadakala, Baradwar district Sakti lured her with marriage and kidnapped her and had physical relations with her. Sections 366, 376 (2) (n), 4, 6 of the POCSO Act were extended to trace the accused.
chhattisgarh news Meanwhile, the same girl went missing again on May 1. On May 3, when the girl’s father filed a report regarding the girl’s disappearance in Pusaur police station, a case number 105/2024 under section 363 IPC was registered in Pusaur police station and investigation was taken up. During the investigation, it was learnt that the accused Bhekhlal Patel had lured the girl and taken her to Jammu. Immediately, police team was prepared by Pusaur police station in-charge Inspector Rohit Banjare and sent to Jammu under the direction of the Superintendent of Police. Upon investigation in Jammu, it was learnt that the accused Bhekhlal Patel works as a daily wage labourer in Jammu and had kept the girl with him in a slum (kachcha ghaan). The police team was raiding the possible places where the accused could be found and when the accused Bhekhlal got the information, he fled from Jammu with the girl by train. The police team followed the girl and the suspect and arrested the accused Bhekhlal Patel near Raigarh railway station. After the counselling and statement of the girl, the accused Bhekhlal Patel was arrested for both the crimes, produced on judicial remand and sent to jail.
