Police arrested two drug smugglers
Tarn Taran. Punjab Police is continuously busy busting the drug smuggling network. As part of the drug smuggling operation in Tarn Taran, police station Sri Goindwal Sahib has succeeded in arresting two accused in separate cases along with a 32 bore pistol, 5 rounds and 90 grams of heroin.
After getting the remand from the honorable court, the police have registered a case against the accused and started further investigation.
Giving information, Chief Inspector Paramjeet Singh Virdi of Police Station Shri Goindwal Sahib said that ASI in-charge of Khadur Sahib. Baldev Singh was on patrol with his police party. During which they arrested a person Iqbal Singh alias Afridi s/o Dilshad Singh resident of Fatiabad with illegal 32 bore pistol and 5 cartridges.
Apart from this, in a separate case, ASI. Bikkar Singh has arrested Arshdeep Singh alias Arsh s/o Gurdev Singh resident of Khadur Sahib with 90 grams of heroin. He said that S.S.P. Under the strict orders received by Ashwini Kapoor, a strict campaign has been launched against anti-social elements, due to which such people are being sent to jail.
