Police caught a bookie writing Satta-Patti near the post office

Raigarh: City Inspector Sukhnand Patel received information from an informer about a person writing Satta-Patti near the Main Post Office Raigarh. The station in-charge directed Patrol Head Constable Vikram Chaurasia and Constable Hetram Sidar to go with town patrolling and take action.

The Kotwali police team raided the spot and caught the person writing the Satta Patti, who told his name as Qadir Khan father Sheikh Rahim Khan age 52 years resident of Raigarh near Chandmari Bhavani Shankar Temple, from whose possession 05 Satta Patti, one dot pen, one lined copy, cash amount of Rs 4,250/- have been seized by the police team in front of witnesses. Action has been taken against the accused in Kotwali police station under Section 06 Chhattisgarh Gambling Prohibition Act 2022.
