Police checking the hawkers, keeping an eye on the suspects

Dongargarh. In view of the upcoming elections and the increasing incidents of theft crime in the district, the district police is conducting a campaign to collect information about people coming from outside. Police is now seeking information from hawkers, job holders and tenants who arrived in search of work. People hawking and roaming suspiciously in the city square are being checked. By campaigning in the district, their name and address will be asked by the police and information regarding their stay will be made available in the police station.

In order to get information about the past activities of 20 people who were hawking and roaming in Chowk-Crossroads, a report was sent for verification to the police stations of their residence area by issuing SS Roll (Dehi Form) of all, after finding adverse comments in the verification report. The matter of legal action has also been said by the police. Information is being taken about the people hawking continuously in the police station areas. The district police appeals to the people to provide the information of their tenants in the police station and cooperate in informing the police on getting the information of the suspicious people who have come from outside.
