Police raid in house, owner arrested with intoxicating syrup
Janjgir-Champa. Police has taken major action on drug trade in the district. Champa police station raided a house and recovered 17 boxes of intoxicating syrup. Whose cost is about 3 lakh 65 thousand rupees. Along with this, the police have also arrested the landlord from the spot. In the same case, the mastermind Arsad Khan is being searched.
Disclosing the drug gang, ASP Anil Soni said that the Champa police had received information that Laxmi Prasad, a resident of Balapur, has kept a stock of intoxicating syrup at his house. After which the police raided and recovered 2 thousand 340 intoxicating syrup. Its police have also seized Rs 1,000 in cash and a mobile. The accused has made several revelations during interrogation, he told that in the month of April, Arshad Khan had called and delivered 30 boxes to his house. Arshad Khan’s men used to come and call and take away the cartoons.
