Police rescue 4 girls from prostitution racket in Goa
Panaji (IANS). Goa Police rescues four girls from Vagator who were pushed into prostitution racket. Police said that these girls were rescued from the prostitution racket after the team raided Vagator on Wednesday. Crime Branch police have said that the girls were bought by the accused person for the purpose of prostitution and used to transport them to nearby customers.
The accused, identified as John, has not been arrested yet. The police team is trying to arrest him.
Police said that the accused person was living with the earnings from prostitution. The police have registered a case against the accused under sections 370, 370(3) of the IPC and sections 4 and 5 of the Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act.
