Police returned 103 lost and stolen mobiles to their owners

Under the guidance of Superintendent of Police Divyang Kumar Patel and Cyber Cell DSP Abhinav Upadhyay in the district, the team of Cyber Cell has achieved remarkable success in the search of lost and stolen mobiles. In the last two months, the Cyber Cell traced and recovered these 103 mobiles, whose total market value is about Rs 16 lakh.
chhattisgarh news These mobiles were also recovered from Chhattisgarh and other states like Odisha, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, West Bengal, and Bihar. The recovered mobiles include expensive brands like Vivo, Redmi, Samsung, Realme and MI. These mobiles were handed over to their real owners by the police, due to which happiness could be clearly seen on their faces. chhattisgarh
SP Divyang Kumar Patel advised the mobile owners to keep their mobile safe and deposit it in the nearest police station if they find any other person’s mobile. He also said that never buy mobile without bill, so that any kind of illegal activities can be avoided. He informed that online report of stolen or lost mobile can be done on CEIR website https://www.ceir.gov.in. This initiative of Raigarh Cyber Cell has proved to be very effective as compared to other districts, in which till now more than 1600 lost or stolen mobiles have been traced and returned to their owners, whose value is approximately ₹2.50 crores. Cyber DSP Abhinav Upadhyay, DSP Aman Lakhisarani along with the entire cyber team is continuously engaged in recovering lost/stolen mobiles along with assisting in crime investigation in serious cases. Cyber Cell’s Head Constable Rajesh Patel, Durgesh Singh, Brijlal Gurjar, Renu Singh Mandavi, Constable Prashant Panda, Mahesh Panda, Dhananjay Kashyap, Vikas Pradhan, Pratap Behera, Naveen Shukla, Suresh Sidar, Pushpendra Jatwar, Ravindra Gupta, Vikram Singh, Lady Constable Maneka Chauhan have played a commendable role in the work of mobile recovery.
