Police returned the money of the person who was a victim of cyber fraud
Gonda : Superintendent of Police, Gonda, Ankit Mittal has instructed the District Cyber Cell and the Cyber Help Desk established at the police stations to conduct public awareness campaigns from time to time to prevent cyber crimes and to make the general public aware about the prevention of cyber crimes and to receive applications from the accused who are victims of cyber fraud. But the concerned have been directed to take action as soon as possible.
In pursuance of the above instructions, the District Cyber Cell team, under the guidance of Additional Superintendent of Police Cyber, took action on the complaint of cyber fraud victim Radheshyam Tiwari, resident of Sisai Bahlol police station, Itiyathok district, Gonda, who had transferred money on a fraud call in the name of purchasing goods online. After investigation and coordination with the concerned bank/nodal, the cyber fraud amount of Radheshyam Tiwari was returned to the applicant’s account today on 17.11.2023. After getting back the amount of Rs. 40,100/- to the applicant Radheshyam, the victim expressed his gratitude to the Superintendent of Police, Gonda and Cyber Cell Team, District Gonda.
