Police seized jewelery worth Rs 1 crore 80 lakh, interrogation of 2 people continues

Janjgir-Champa: During vehicle checking, Champa police seized gold and silver jewelery from two vehicles at different checking points. In this, 2.11 kg gold and 75.41 kg silver jewelery has been recovered. The value of the seized jewelery is Rs 1 crore 80 lakh 17 thousand 960.

The gold and silver recovered by the police has been confiscated under Section 102 CRPC. The matter has been informed to the Executive Magistrate and GST Department. Police have also arrested Shankar Lal Soni and Saurabh Kumar Saraf in this case.
