Police seized two trucks carrying cattle, driver and operator arrested
Bihar: On the basis of secret information, Kodha police have arrested three people along with two vehicles loaded with cattle. More than four dozen animals have been seized from both the vehicles. In this matter, Kodha police station chief Alok Rai said that on the basis of secret information, two trucks were stopped near Gedabari market and interrogated. During interrogation, it was said that there was cattle on the truck, then both the trucks were seized and three people were also arrested. Police station chief Alok Rai told that Rajnath Ram, age 42 years, village Machhagar Jagdish police station Hathwa, district Gopalganj, driver, Imam Hussain Ansari, age 41 years, village Hathoji police station Phulwaria district, Gopalganj driver, Ravindra Manjhi, age 22 years, village Loan police station Bachharia district Siwan, assistant driver arrested. It has been done and the matter is being thoroughly investigated. The police station chief said that a case has been registered and further action is being taken. The same Bajrang Dal and BJP workers said that Bajrang Dal workers had caught the vehicle laden with cattle against cattle smuggling.
Due to which the local police resorted to lathi charge on Bajrang Dal workers due to which BJP workers got angry and protested by blocking the road in Gedabari market. BJP leader Gaurav Paswan alias Golu told that trucks loaded with cattle were going towards Purnia, which was tried to be stopped by Bajrang Dal workers near Phulwaria Chowk, but the truck drivers did not stop the vehicle. The said truck was hit by BJP workers in Gedabari market. Was caught and during this time Kodha police station came and lathi charged the Bajrang Dal workers who had caught the truck laden with cattle. And some workers were also arrested. However, we are protesting against the fact that he was later released after interrogation. During the demonstration by BJP workers by blocking the road, long queues of vehicles formed on both sides of the National Highway due to which people had to face a lot of difficulties in movement. As soon as information about the matter was received, police inspector Ranjit Kumar, city police station in-charge Raghavendra Singh, Pothia OP in-charge, after understanding the angry people, removed the jam and started taking action against the vehicle laden with animals and the three arrested persons.
