Police station incharge sentenced to stand in court room for 3 hours
Raipur. Chhattisgarh High Court strongly reprimanded Raipur RTO for fraud in permit case. The court also ordered to change the entire staff as soon as possible. Along with this, the Khamtarai police station in-charge of Raipur also expressed his displeasure over not being present at 10 o’clock and was instructed to remain in the court room for 25 minutes. The court has issued the order during the ongoing hearing in the case of complaint of irregularities in the Road Transport Officer’s office and fraud regarding permits. The court expressed its displeasure over an employee of RTO Raipur staying at one place for years and also reprimanded the officer.
In the ongoing hearing of this case, Justice NK Vyas had asked the Raipur Khamtarai police station in-charge to appear at 10 am, but the station in-charge appeared at 1 pm. Due to which the court got angry and asked him to remain in the court from 1:30 pm to 4:25 pm. The court has also asked Raipur RTO officer Kirtiman Singh Thakur to present a written affidavit in the next hearing on January 4 regarding the permit scam case taking place in the Raipur District Regional Transport Officer office.
