Political parties should strictly follow the instructions of the Election Commission in election expenditure – District Election
During the upcoming assembly elections, a meeting of the representatives of recognized political parties was held under the chairmanship of District Election Officer and Collector Tarachand Meena regarding the observance of model code of conduct and control of election expenditure.
In the meeting, District Election Officer Meena informed the representatives of political parties about the guidelines of the Election Commission and said that cooperation of all concerned parties is required for smooth, fair and peaceful elections. He said that every activity of the Election Commission, election expenses of political parties and candidates, adherence to model code of conduct etc. will be closely monitored. In such a situation, it is expected from all that the guidelines of the Election Commission should be followed literally. In the presence of representatives of all political parties in the meeting, from tea-coffee to lunch-dinner, stage-pandal for meeting-rallies, use of vehicles, rent of election offices and all kinds of materials used during elections.
