Pratap Singh Bajwa claims: 32 AAP MLAs in Punjab are in touch with Congress, CM gives response
Chandigarh: Punjab opposition leader and Congress MLA Pratap Singh Bajwa has claimed that 32 Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLAs are in touch with him. Responding to Pratap Singh Bajwa’s statement, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Tuesday criticized him, saying, “I know that Congress thwarted your ambition of becoming the Chief Minister.”
Pratap Singh Bajwa claimed that Congress has 18 seats in Punjab and with the support of 32 AAP MLAs, his party can oust the ruling government. Chief Minister Mann responded to Bajwa’s claims by posting on his X account. The Chief Minister wrote, “You are talking about breaking the government elected by the people of Punjab. I know that Congress had aborted your desire to become the Chief Minister. I am the representative of three crore people of Punjab, not a juggler like you. CM Mann challenged Pratap Bajwa and said that if you have the courage then talk to the high command. It is noteworthy that in the year 2022, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) had won the assembly elections by winning 92 out of 117 seats.
