Pregnant woman assaulted, accused arrested in serious sections

Raigad. On the direction of Senior Superintendent of Police Sadanand Kumar, Chakradharnagar police arrested the accused youth Rahul Bhardwaj, who assaulted a pregnant woman, under non-bailable sections and sent him on remand today. According to the information, a woman resident of Sakti police station, Hasaud district, is living in Sant Vinoba Nagar area of Jutemill with a house on rent. Thana is pre-acquainted with Rahul Bhardwaj, who lives in Deendayalpuram Colony of Chakradharnagar. Rahul Bhardwaj assured by saying that he will keep the woman as his wife.
