Preparations underway to bring Anaimangalam copper coins to Tamil Nadu, informed L. Murugan

Tamil Nadu: Union Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting and Parliamentary Affairs L. Murugan has stated that all necessary steps will be taken to bring the Anaimangalam copper coins back to Tamil Nadu as soon as possible. He also stated that the central government is continuously working to preserve and restore historical and cultural heritage to various parts of the country.

On Sunday, the 134th episode of the Prime Minister’s monthly radio program, “Mann Ki Baat,” was broadcast. The program was heard nationwide, delivering Narendra Modi’s thoughts and messages to the public. L. Murugan was present in the Koyambedu area of ​​Chennai during the broadcast and participated in the program, engaging with the public. He listened to the radio broadcast and interacted with the public.

L. Murugan told reporters that during Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s recent foreign trip, Anaimangalam copper plates dating back to the Chola period were brought back to India from the Netherlands. He stated that these historical relics are an important part of the country’s cultural heritage, and that safely returning them to India is the government’s priority. He further stated that the necessary administrative and technical procedures will be completed to bring these relics back to Tamil Nadu.

He also clarified that the government’s objective is to respectfully restore historical relics related to ancient Indian civilization in their original locations, so that people can better understand and experience their heritage. During the event in Koyambedu, local residents listened attentively to the “Mann Ki Baat” program and discussed the Prime Minister’s messages.
