Prime Minister Narendra Modi welcomed on reaching Kaziranga National Park
Assam. Local people welcomed Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his arrival at Kaziranga National Park. Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached Tezpur on Friday evening as part of his two-day Assam tour. Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma welcomed him at the airport. The Chief Minister said that the Prime Minister will visit Kaziranga National Park today, where he will stay at the Assam Police guest house at night and enjoy safari the next day.
Chief Minister Sarma had earlier informed about the visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi that on Saturday, Prime Minister Modi will unveil a huge 125-feet statue of Veer Lachit Barphukan at Lahdaigad of Holonga Pathar in Jorhat. During this, the Prime Minister will inaugurate, inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of many projects worth Rs 18 thousand crore in Assam.
According to Sarma, ‘The Prime Minister will go directly to the UNESCO World Heritage Site Kaziranga National Park and Tiger Reserve from Tezpur Airport. Prime Minister Modi will stay overnight at the Assam Police Guest House in the Kohora range of the national park. Next day on Saturday morning they will go on safari in the park. Later he will go to Arunachal Pradesh to participate in two programs.
