Private bus falls into ditch, driver dies

Nerva. Late on Friday night, a private bus met with an accident in Dhartukhadi drain on the border of district Sirmaur, three kilometers away from Pulbahal of sub-division Chaupal. According to the information, the bus was coming from Nahan towards Pulbahal. During this time it crashed and fell about thirty feet below the road. At the time this accident occurred, only the driver and conductor were on board the bus. Out of which the driver died on the spot and the conductor was injured.

As soon as the accident was known, the local people took the injured conductor Mahesh Kumar, son of Baldev, village Baredi, Post Office Sher, Tehsil Rajgarh to the local hospital. From there he was referred to Solan Hospital. The deceased driver has been identified as Kapil Kumar, son of Lok Bahadur, aged thirty, village Thanog, post office Chorwadhar, tehsil Rajgarh, district Sirmaur. The body was brought to Civil Hospital Chaupal for post-mortem. After postmortem there, the body was handed over to the family members.
