Priyanka Chopra talks about becoming a pageant winner at the age of 17

Priyanka Chopra, who is the chairperson of the MAMI Film Festival, recently visited India for this year’s edition of the prestigious event. National Award winner and popular Bollywood actress Bhumi Pednekar appeared together in a special masterclass interview held at the film festival. During her conversation at the master class, Priyanka Chopra talked about winning a beauty pageant at the age of 17 and how it had a huge impact on her life. During their conversation in the Master Class interview, which is currently streaming on the Film Companion YouTube channel, Priyanka Chopra and Bhumi Pednekar were seen discussing the importance of ‘perseverance’ in their careers. PC, who revealed that perseverance has always been her mantra in her career, opened up about winning a beauty pageant at the age of 17. According to the Barfi actress, winning the title of Miss India and then Miss World when she was barely 17-18 years old changed the way people looked at her. Priyanka Chopra revealed that at that age, with everyone constantly looking at her and expecting her to be on her best behavior and never say anything wrong, it was tough. “Since I was a pageant winner, I was expected to be perfect in every way,” the popular star revealed.
