Progress review meeting of various PPP projects of PWD- Action plan of the projects
Principal Secretary, Public Works Department, Mr. Vaibhav Galaria directed that the action plan of all the projects of the department should be made in such a way that the work is not affected due to rain and the work is completed on time. He instructed that along with construction works, necessary works like water harvesting, plantation should also be completed along with it.
Mr. Galaria was presiding over the review meeting held in the meeting hall of the Department Headquarters on the progress of works of various state highway projects of the PPP branch of the department on Thursday. In the meeting, the progress of physical, financial, pre-construction works and the works of consultants and contractors of 18 projects were reviewed.
Mr. Galaria said that concerned officers, consultants and contractors should ensure that there is no delay at any level so that the people of the state get the benefit of these projects on time.
Mr. Galaria reviewed in detail regarding the solution of the actual problems being faced by the officers and the contractors and said that there should not be any compromise in the quality of these works. Do not get asphalt works done in monsoon so that the quality is not affected. The works of sub-grade, GSB, WMM, cement concrete and culverts should be done with full promptness and maximum plantation should be done taking advantage of the rainy season. Get the land acquisition and utilities such as shifting of power line, drinking water line etc. completed on time.
Chief Engineer (PPP) of Public Works Department Shri D.R. Meghwal said that the construction work of roads should not be affected by the rains, so work should be done according to the plan.
Bikaner-Napasar-Jasrasar, Neem police station-Khetri, Jhunjhunu-Rajgarh, Kishangarh-Arai-Malpura, Beawar-Masuda-Goyla, Dantiwada-Pipar-Merta City, Churu-Taranagar-Nohar, Khedli-Nadbai-Kumher etc. The progress of 18 projects was reviewed and necessary directions were given to the concerned.
In the meeting, Additional Chief Engineer (PPP) Mr. Avinash Sharma, RSHA member Mr. V.L. Dhankhar, Mr. Niranjan Chowdhary, all concerned project directors and concerned officers, consultants and sensors from different districts were present.
