Punjab: 2 drones, 1 kg heroin seized near the international border
A BSF spokesperson on Tuesday said two drones and about 1 kg of heroin were detected near the border between India and Pakistan in Punjab’s Amritsar.
A drone was seen near Dhanoe Khurd village of Amritsar in the early hours of Tuesday.
During a search operation, BSF along with Punjab Police discovered a Chinese-made drone and a package of heroin weighing 430 grams in a field. Attached to the package was a nylon ring and a small lantern, Port Voice said.
BSF soldiers caught another drone in the same village Dhanoe Khurd on Monday afternoon. During a search operation they recovered a Chinese-made quadricopter and a package of heroin weighing 540 grams.
