Puri Police issues traffic regulations for New Year 2025, check routes here
Puri: Ahead of the New Year 2025, Puri Srimandir will see a huge crowd of devotees. To welcome the visitors preparations in Puri have reached the last stage. Police has issued New Year regulations in Puri.
From Srimandir to Mahodadhi, Badadanda to hotel every place is expected to witness a huge crowd of tourists as the year 2024 comes to an end. To maintain law and order situation in Puri, police force has tightened its security said Puri SP, Binit Agarwal.
As many as 60 platoon of police force will be deployed to manage the traffic and avoid any unpleasant happenings. Monitoring of CCTVs will be done. For the disciplined darshan of devotees and their security, traffic restrictions will be issued.
To avoid deaths and accidents in the beach at Puri, life guards will be deployed. From December 31 to January 3, 2025 these regulations will be followed.
The two-wheelers shall touch Grand road via-Atharnala, Banamber Chhak, Kumbharapada Police station, Hospital Chhak and park their vehicles at Municipality Market complex parking area on first come first priority basis.
After the Municipality Market complex parking place is exhausted, then M/Cs will be diverted to the specified places on the eastern side of road on Grand Road from Market Chhak to Hospital crossing.
In a post on social media, X, the puri police posted a traffic advisory for the visitors.
