Raghav Chadha is the leader of the party in Rajya Sabha

New Delhi. The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Saturday appointed Raghav Chadha as the party leader in the Rajya Sabha in the absence of Sanjay Singh. Sanjay Singh is in judicial custody after his arrest in the Delhi Excise Policy case. AAP said, “In the absence of Sanjay Singh, the party has appointed Raghav Chadha as the leader of the Aam Aadmi Party in the Rajya Sabha.” Sanjay Singh was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on October 4 this year in connection with the alleged excise policy scam.

A few days after his arrest by the CBI on February 27 in the same case, the ED had also arrested former Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia in connection with the case on March 9 this year. Manish Sisodia is also currently in judicial custody. Aam Aadmi Party has given a big responsibility to Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chadha. The party has appointed him as the party leader in Rajya Sabha. AAP gave this information on Saturday. Let us inform that Chadha was suspended from Rajya Sabha on 11 August 2023 and he has joined the winter session after the 115-day suspension was cancelled.
