Rahul Gandhi put India’s voice in Lok Sabha: Mallikarjun Kharge
New Delhi (IANS). Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge on Wednesday lauded party leader Rahul Gandhi’s speech in the Lok Sabha, saying he has put India’s voice in the Lok Sabha.
Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge tweeted, “Rahul Gandhi put forth India’s voice in the Lok Sabha today (on Wednesday). Pandit Nehru had said – ‘Bharat Mata’ is the people of India only. Our own brothers and sisters are facing violence in Manipur, they are suffering due to insensitivity of BJP.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ministers are talking here and there, but they are not telling how the violence happened, why it was allowed to spread, why the Prime Minister did not appeal for peace, why he did not go there and express his pain to the people. Asked?”
The Leader of the Opposition in the Rajya Sabha asked whether the Modi government has nothing to do with the sufferings of the people. Is all his politics just to get votes? His remarks came after Rahul Gandhi accused the BJP government of killing ‘Bharat Mata’ in Manipur and across India.
Speaking in support of the no-confidence motion in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi said that the BJP has thrown kerosene on the entire country today. Thrown on Manipur, set it on fire, sprinkled on Haryana, that too is burning. They are busy burning the whole country! They are not the protectors of Mother India, they are the murderers of Mother India!
Rahul also said that the Prime Minister’s arrogance is burning the entire country. Lanka was burnt not by Lord Hanuman but by the arrogance of Ravana.
And just like that, Prime Minister Modi’s arrogance is burning and destroying India. The BJP is setting the whole country on fire from Manipur to Haryana.
