Raid in unregistered warehouse, huge quantity of sarees and blankets recovered
Raigarh. Collector and District Election Officer Kartikeya Goyal has instructed the teams formed to continuously monitor the adherence to the model code of conduct and expenditure monitoring during elections in the district and to take action against illegal activities.
In the same sequence, the Flying Squad Team (FST), formed for monitoring the elections, jointly took a major action with the State GST team under the leadership of Assistant Collector Yuvraj Marmat and seized a huge quantity of blankets, sarees and other goods from an unregistered warehouse in Raigarh. Other garment items have been recovered and further action has been initiated.
Giving information in this regard, Assistant Collector Yuvraj Marmat said that an unregistered warehouse of an institute named Krishna Solvent was raided today in front of Chhatamuda Chowk in Jute Mill area. Where a large quantity of sarees, blankets and other clothes and garment items were stored.
In this regard, when the owner of the institute was called and inquired, he did not provide any concrete information regarding the goods kept in the warehouse. Further legal action by the team in this regard is continuing.
