Raigarh News Challan action taken against paan carts
Raigarh raigarh news. Under the guidance of Chief Medical and Health Officer Dr. B.K. Chandravanshi, TI Prashant Rao of Chakradhar Nagar and District Program Manager Ranjana Pankra, under the District Tobacco Control Program, today in the urban area of Chakradhar Nagar of Raigarh district, challan proceedings were conducted against the paan carts located near Police Station Signal Chowk and Degree College, Bhagwanpur CMHO Office, violating the rules under the COTPA Act 2003 and not following the smoking in public places, in which an amount of Rs 2000 was recovered from 12 paan carts.

In the said action, there was special cooperation of Food and Drug Inspector Vijay Kumar of Health Department, Savita Rani Nodal Officer Dr. Vivek Upadhyay, District Advisor Tobacco Control Program Seema Bareth and Constable Radheshyam Patel of Police Department. The health officer has appealed to the general public to stay away from tobacco and avoid its consumption and keep their families healthy and safe.
