Raigarh News: Youth arrested with Mahua liquor

In this connection, the female head constable of Kharsia police station Sarojini Rathore received information from an informer that a person named Mohan Lal Patel of village Amadol is coming towards Chhote Devgaon on foot with liquor in a bag.

chhattisgarh news Police cordoned off the road in Amadol and caught the suspicious youth who told his name as Mohanlal Patel, son of Santosh Kumar Patel, age 26 years, resident of Chhote Devgaon, currently residing in Amadol, from whose possession the police recovered 20 liters of raw Mahua liquor worth ₹ 3,000 in four plastic jerry cans of 5-5 liters capacity, which was duly seized and action has been taken against the accused in Kharsia police station under section 34 (2), 59 (a) of the Excise Act. Woman head constable Sarojini Rathore, constable Satyanarayan Sidar, Ashok Kanwar and Yogendra Sidar were involved in the liquor raid operation.
