Railway review meeting organized under the leadership of PMRE General Manager

Jabalpur : A weekly coordination review meeting was organized on Wednesday, 15 November 2023 under the chairmanship of West Central Railway General Manager, Mrs. Shobhana Bandopadhyay and in the presence of major department heads of the headquarters and divisional railway managers of the three divisions (through video conferencing). Safety and security and punctuality were discussed in this meeting. Today’s meeting was held under the leadership of General Manager Shobhana Bandopadhyay.

Progress of infrastructure work, safety, punctuality of goods and passenger trains, loading performance etc. were discussed. Apart from this, the redevelopment works of stations going on under Amrit Bharat stations, progress of work on various routes to increase the speed to 160 KMPH by increasing the track capacity of railway sections, progress report of Kavach on Nagda-Mathura railway section were reviewed. . Also, emphasis was laid on automatic block signaling, monitoring of operation and maintenance of Vande Bharat trains and expansion of Gati Shakti Multi Model Cargo Terminal. Many effective steps are being taken in the field of passenger safety and railway safety on West Central Railway.
