Raipur Breaking: Congressmen who came out to gherao the assembly were stopped with water cannon

Raipur. Congressmen have gone to gherao the Vidhan Sabha in Chhattisgarh. Congressmen are protesting on several issues including law and order, Balodabazar violence. The Vidhan Sabha road has been converted into a cantonment. -The police have put up 5 layers of barricading on the way. This is being called the biggest protest of the Congress party after coming into the opposition.

State Congress in-charge Sachin Pilot said- The journalist asked me that the BJP government has been in power for only 6 months, then why was there a need to gherao the Vidhan Sabha. I said that the Congress party lives and dies for the people. When the state government is asleep, this had to be done to wake it up, to break its sleep.

Pilot said- This government is arrogant. It files false cases against Congress workers. To hide its failure, it harasses the common people. Ask the people of Balodabazar, who had come to spread violence. The information system was sleeping. This government runs from Delhi, not Raipur. We do not believe in violence, we condemn anyone who commits violence. But we have been raising the voice of the farmers.
