Raipur got third prize in the Joint Regional Official Language Conference held in Mumbai.
Raipur: Every year, a region-wise Official Language Conference is organized by the Department of Official Language, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, New Delhi, in which various central offices, undertakings, banks and city official language implementation committees under different ministries are recognized for their notable work in the official language. For doing so, he is honored with Regional Official Language Award in various categories.
This year, the Joint Regional Official Language Conference of Western and Central Region was organized by the Ministry of Home Affairs on 23.11.2023 at Nuclear Power Corporation of India, Chembur, Mumbai.In this dignified ceremony, Divisional Railway Manager’s Office, South East Central Railway, Raipur was felicitated as the Chief Guest, His Excellency the Governor of Maharashtra, for doing excellent work in the official language during the year 2022-23 in the category of offices having more than 50 personnel located in ‘A’ zone. The third prize was given by the staff of Ramesh Bais and Honorable Union Minister of State for Home, Government of India Ajay Kumar Mishra.
Shri Nikesh Kumar Pandey, Official Language Officer, received the said shield on behalf of Divisional Railway Manager Office, Raipur. On receiving the above award by the Divisional Railway Manager Office, Raipur, Divisional Railway Manager Sanjeev Kumar and Additional Chief Official Language Officer and Additional Divisional Railway Manager (Infra) Ashish Mishra expressed happiness to all the officers/employees of the Division and the Department of Official Language, Raipur. Congratulated and expressed hope that in the future too, the Department of Official Language, Home Ministry will receive respected awards.
