Raipur: He kept killing whoever came in front of him, murderer Dabbu arrested
Raipur. Dogendra Patel alias Dabbu, the accused of murder and deadly attack, has been arrested. Shankar Verma lodged a report at Kharora police station that he lives in village Koraasi ward number 20 Kharora district Raipur. On 06.12.2024, between 16.00 hrs and 17.00 hrs, Dogendra alias Dabbu, a resident of village Koraasi, near the Panchayat Bhawan, abused Manoj Kumar Banjare obscenely and threatened to kill him, hit him on his leg with an iron rod he was carrying and injured him and vandalized his motorcycle. After that, he also abused the people of the village obscenely and threatened to kill them, and hit any person of the village between Society Chowk and Bagdhara pond with an iron rod and injured him, in which the village’s Milen Patel, Ramulal Verma, Chovaram Sahu, Birendra Patel, Mrs. Saraswati Dhruv, Neelkanth Sahu, Mrs. Kirti Sahu and the applicant’s father Faguram Verma were injured. All the injured were admitted to the hospital for treatment. Kirti Sahu died during treatment due to a deep injury on his head and bleeding. On the report of the applicant, a case number 840/24 under sections 296, 115(2), 351(2), 103(1) BNS was registered against the accused in Kharora police station. On which, under the direction of senior officers and under the leadership of Kharora police station in-charge, the members of Kharora police station inspected the crime scene and made detailed inquiries from the people around including the family members of the deceased in relation to the incident. The team members conducted raids at all the possible hiding places of the accused and took prompt action in the case. On arresting and interrogating the accused Dogendra Patel alias Dabbu, the accused confessed to committing the said incident. On which the accused Dogendra Patel alias Dabbu was arrested and the iron rod used in the incident was seized from his possession and action was taken against him.
