Raipur. A 6-year-old innocent lost his life in a tragic road accident in Tilda Nevra. The incident took place near village Bilari on Tilda-Simga road. The deceased has been identified as Mayank Yadav, son of Harish Yadav. The accident occurred when Mayank was returning home from the farm with his grandmother. While crossing the road, a speeding Hiva (number CG 28 P 1028) crushed him, killing him on the spot.
After the incident, the Hiva driver left the vehicle and ran towards the forest. The local people stopped the Hiva and blocked the road in anger. As soon as the information was received, Tilda Nevra police reached the spot and controlled the situation. The police have started further legal action by doing Panchnama of the dead body. The search for the absconding driver is on.
