Raipur News: Theft in an empty house revealed, teenager arrested
Raipur raipur news. The teenager who carried out the theft in an empty house has been arrested. Brijesh Chaudhary had lodged a report in New Rajendra Nagar police station that he lives in New Rajendra Nagar behind Ashadeep Hospital. On 04.06.2024 at around 09.00 pm, the applicant locked his house and went to Ambikapur with his family, that on 10.06.2024, when the applicant returned home, he saw that the main gate of the house was locked but the lock of the main door was broken. When he went inside the house, he found that the locks of the rooms and the locker of the cupboard were also broken and the goods were scattered. The gold and silver jewellery, silver coins and cash kept in the cupboard were missing. Some unknown thief had jumped over the wall of the applicant’s house, broke the lock of the main door, entered the house, broke the lock of the cupboards and stole the said goods. On which, crime number 267/2024 under section 457, 380 IPC was registered against the unknown accused in Rajendra Nagar police station.
Taking the Chhattisgarh theft incident seriously, Senior Superintendent of Police Santosh Kumar Singh directed Additional Superintendent of Police Crime Sandeep Mittal, Deputy Superintendent of Police Crime Sanjay Singh and Inspector Paresh Pandey in charge of Anti Crime and Cyber Unit to trace the unknown accused and arrest him as soon as possible. On which, under the direction of senior officers, the team of Anti Crime and Cyber Unit started to trace the unknown accused by inspecting the crime spot thoroughly and questioning the applicant and the people around him in detail regarding the incident.
raipur crime news The team members observed the footage of CCTV cameras installed at the crime spot and around it and also deployed an informer in the case. Meanwhile, the team members received information that on the date of the incident, a boy who is a child in conflict with the law and has previously been imprisoned in Bal Samprakshan Grih Mana in a burglary case from Tikrapara police station, was seen in a suspicious condition late at night near the incident site. The team members traced the boy and caught him. On the basis of the evidence obtained, on strict interrogation, he accepted committing the above incident of theft. On which the child in conflict with the law was arrested and 75 grams of gold and 282 grams of silver jewellery worth about Rs. 5,25,100/- were seized from his possession and action was taken against him.
