Raipur police raided at 5 am, 112 criminals arrested
Raipur: Today, as per the instructions of Senior Superintendent of Police Prashant Aggarwal, in view of security and peace keeping in view the upcoming assembly elections including prevention of crimes, cracking down on criminals, City Superintendent of Police Azad Chowk Mayank Gurjar (B.P.S.), City Superintendent of Police Assembly Udayan Behar, City Superintendent of Police Kotwali Yogesh Sahu, City Superintendent of Police Urla Avinash Mishra, City Superintendent of Police Purani Basti Rajesh Chaudhary, City Police Superintendent Civil Line Manoj Dhruv, ACCU in-charge under the leadership of Deputy Superintendent of Police Crime Dinesh Sinha. , Station Incharge Muzgahan, Purani Basti, Khamhardih, Telibandha, Civil Line, Kabir Nagar, Azad Chowk, D.D. Nagar, Saraswati Nagar, Pandari, Vidhansabha, Ganj, Maudhapara, Golbazar, Gudhiyari, Khamtarai, Urla, Dharsiwa, Tikrapara, Around 100 member police team including Kotwali AA and Amanaka, other officers/deputies of Raipur Police and the team of Anti Crime and Cyber Unit, today at 05:00 am in different places, arrested goons, vigilantes, suspicious persons, anti-social elements and criminals. Raids/checking action was taken against old criminals including those involved in crime.
Under which BSUP located at Tikrapara, New Rajendra Nagar, Telibandha, Pandari, Kabir Nagar, DD Nagar, Azad Chowk, Vidhansabha, Khamhardih, Purani Basti, Ganj, Saraswati Nagar, Amanaka area. Raids/checking operations were conducted in colonies, Devardera, Nehru Nagar, Gokul Nagar, Kalibari, Birgaon, Ghazinagar, Ramnagar, Khamtarai Basti and railway stations and bus stands.
During the raid/checking, knives were seized from a total of 07 accused and 07 cases of Arms Act were registered against the accused in the concerned police stations. Illegally kept liquor was seized from a total of 04 accused. 04 cases of Excise Act were registered against the accused in the concerned police stations, a total of 03 accused. Ganja was seized from them and action was taken against the accused by registering 02 cases of Narcotics Act in the concerned police stations. Similarly, along with taking action under restrictive sections in different police stations against about 68 criminals including goondas, vigilantes and criminal elements who are continuously involved in crimes, 20 arrest warrants and 09 permanent warrants were issued under section 327. Bhadvi. One absconding accused was also arrested.
Along with this, B.S.U.P. Along with verification of the people and tenants living in the houses of the colonies, the outsiders coming from outside were also verified and interrogated.
