Raipur police took major action on intelligence input, shooters of Lawrence Bishnoi arrested

Raipur. Four accused of notorious international organized criminal gang Aman Sahu Gang Jharkhand have been arrested. On the basis of reliable sources and intelligence input, on the intelligence of movement of some members of the notorious international gang to commit a major crime in Raipur city, under the direction of Honorable Inspector General of Police Raipur Range Raipur Amresh Mishra and Senior Superintendent of Police Santosh Kumar Singh. By planning a secret operation of 72 hours, Raipur Police and Intelligence Agency have succeeded in arresting 03 accused from Chhattisgarh and 01 accused from Rajasthan.

According to the plan, Mayank Singh, who runs the Aman Sahu gang of Jharkhand, sent Rohit Swarnkar resident of Bokaro Jharkhand to Indore city of Madhya Pradesh to arrange for the first pistol and through his contact with Sendhwa of Indore, 01 pistol and 01 magazine. Made available and directed Rohit to reach Raipur with the pistol. Pappu Singh, sitting in village Saran of Pali district of Rajasthan, was asked by Mayank Singh to arrange for a bike rider to carry out the crime. Mukesh Kumar Bhat and Devendra Singh, residents of Saran, were sent by Pappu Singh to Raipur for bike riding at the time of the incident. Rohit Swarnakar took a pistol from Sendhwa in Indore and after visiting Mahakal in Ujjain, reached Raipur via train and Mukesh and Devendra reached Raipur via bus. According to the planning, Raipur Police personnel in plain clothes were deployed at possible places in the city to identify them.

Separate patrolling parties in plain clothes were deployed. During continuous monitoring, in this completely confidential operation of 72 hours, 01 accused Rohit Swarnkar was identified in Ganj police station area and his activity was monitored and when suspicious activity was noticed, he was lifted, from whose possession 01 pistol and 01 magazine were recovered. Also, the team present in plain clothes at Bhatgaon Chowk pointed out two suspicious persons and after keeping an eye on their activities, picked them up and when they interrogated them strictly, they told that they were sent by Pappu Singh from Rajasthan for bike riding during the firing here. And the shooter was said to come from Jharkhand. During interrogation, the three accused taken into custody revealed that the entire plan was made by Mayank Singh, who is currently running the Aman Sahu gang of Jharkhand, in collaboration with Pappu Singh, a resident of Pali district of Rajasthan. In the gang’s modus, the shooter and the rider were instructed to hide their identity from each other and not to remain in any technical contact and to remain in touch through their respective mediums only through net calling through the app and in case of any adverse situation or police. In case of arrest, different code words were decided. Mayank had instructed Rohit to use 29-29 code and Pappu had instructed Mukesh to use Ram-Ram and Jai Mata Di code. The target was told from above only after reaching Raipur and arrangements for bullet and bike were made by Mayank. On technical review of the information received from the interrogation, when the fact of accused Pappu Singh directing the gang while staying in Pali Saran came to light, a team of Raipur Police already present in Delhi was immediately moved to Pali district of Rajasthan and organizational support was provided there. Pappu Singh was abducted from Saran village of Pali without his knowledge. During interrogation, the accused revealed that Mayank Singh was operating this scheme from Malaysia. Police and intelligence agencies of Rajasthan, Jharkhand and Chhattisgarh are in constant touch and sharing intelligence. The accused are being interrogated in detail in relation to the target, they have been booked in police station Ganj under crime number 223/24 section 399, 402, 386, 120B IPC. And 25 have been arrested under the Arms Act and by obtaining police remand of the accused, efforts are being made to point out the members of this organized criminal gang and to get information about the complete planning.
