Raipur police took out flag march

Raipur. In view of the festive crowd and assembly elections, Raipur Police conducted a flag march and checking campaign in the capital on Friday night. Under the leadership of all ASPs, CSPs and DSPs, the soldiers including police station in-charges conducted flag marches in their respective police station areas. Under visible policing, teams of 112 including foot patrolling, vehicle patrolling, Crime Prevention Patrolling (CPP) gather in crowded places, markets, public places/deserted places to check drug abuse, factionalism/loitering.

Constant checking was carried out of perpetrators, suspicious persons, anti-social elements, trunks of vehicles of suspicious persons and those roaming around with sharp/pointed knives. In compliance with the Model Code of Conduct, by setting up fixed checking points in all the police station areas, intensive checking of illegal liquor transportation in all types of vehicles, other election related materials and other suspicious items along with checking of suspicious persons and persons in railway stations and bus stands is being done. Goods are also being checked continuously.
