Raipur’s Ganj police caught 2 accused with liquor
Raipur: According to the intention of the government, Senior Superintendent of Police Prashant Aggarwal directed the police station in-charge and the in-charge anti-crime and cyber unit to stop smuggling of liquor coming from other states and also to take action by finding out the people buying and selling liquor illegally. Has been done In view of which, all the police gazetted officers of Raipur Police and in-charge ACCU. Along with collecting information in this regard, police station in-charges are also collecting information through other means along with appointing informers.
In the same sequence, the team of police station Ganj, under the leadership of police station in-charge Ganj, arrested the accused Tekram Chhuria alias Umesh Baba and Kalia Tandi with illegal liquor in different places under police station Ganj area and a total of 100 pauvas of country liquor Jumla was seized from their possession. Approximately Rs 10,000/- was seized and action was taken against the accused by registering crime numbers 282/23 and 283/23 under Section 34(2) of the Excise Act in Police Station Ganj.

- Tekram Chhuria alias Umesh Baba Father Late. Shyamu Chhuriya, age 23 years, behind Sakin Tarun Nagar Haat Bazaar, Civil Lines Police Station, District Raipur.
- Kalia Tandi Father Late. Sundar Tandi age 52 years, Sakin Ramkund Usla Talab, behind Dinesh Grocery Store, Police Station Azad Chowk District Raipur
