Raj Kundra, Shilpa Shetty worship at Siddhivinayak temple before the release of film UT69

Actress Shilpa Shetty along with her husband Raj Kundra on Friday offered prayers and sought blessings at the Siddhivinayak temple.

In the pictures, both can be seen twinning in white traditional attire. Shilpa teamed her white suit with a yellow shawl. Raj, on the other hand, was wearing a green shawl over his white kurta.

The couple visited the temple ahead of the release of Raj’s film ‘UT69’.

Earlier, Raj told ANI, “This is the true story from the time I entered the jail to the time I came out. That’s all about my life in 63 days there. My troubles, safety issues, relationships and friends I made there over food and drink. It is a slice of life and a serious subject told in a very light-hearted manner.”

He told what was Shilpa’s reaction after hearing about the entire concept of this film, “When I told my wife about this film, she told me, ‘Raj, you have done a lot in life, you should Really need it again. Then you have to face trolls and backlash.’ But when he heard the script he said, ‘You can do it.’

“So, it is not easy for us to deal with all this. When I came out of jail, I wore a mask because I did not want to face the media. I was hurt by the media trial, so this is how the mask came to light.’ A few months later, I met Shahnawaz and he discussed the subject and said that we have to make this film. Later I decided that I will keep wearing this mask until I get a clean chit or this film is released.’ I knew that people would keep trolling me but that troll made me stronger.’
