Rajasthan Assembly Election 2023: Voting is going on in 199 out of 200 constituencies amid tight security arrangements in Rajasthan. Voting will take place from 7 am to 6 pm. There is a tough contest between BJP and Congress and leaders of both the parties are making their own claims. The results of the elections will be declared on 3 December. Due to the death of Congress candidate and sitting MLA Gurmeet Singh Kunar from Karanpur seat of Sriganganagar, elections in this area have been postponed. A total of 1862 candidates are in the fray in Rajasthan and the number of voters is 5,25,38,105. These include 1,70,99,334 voters in the 18-30 age group, out of which 22,61,008 are new voters in the 18-19 age group.
Till 5 pm, 68.24 percent voting took place in Rajasthan Assembly elections.
An elderly man died during voting in Udaipur. An elderly man died of a heart attack in Sector 4 St. Anthony’s School. The 70-year-old man who suffered a heart attack had come to vote in the afternoon.
Congress leader CP Joshi countered Amit Shah’s statement and said that I do not know what Amit Shah ji said but every child of Nathdwara goes to the temple, we always go to the temple.
During voting today, Kanhaiyalal Taylor’s two sons Yash and Tarun also came to vote for the first time. While talking, he said that his father was made a political issue in this time’s assembly elections. We still have hope for justice. Whatever government is formed in Rajasthan, it should provide justice to our father. Even after one and a half years have passed, the accused have not been punished yet.. In the assembly elections we saw that political parties made it propaganda. It would have been better for us if we had helped in getting the accused punished instead of making this murder an issue.
