Rajasthan: Woman refuses to marry brother, in a fit of rage he stabs himself with a sword

Banswara: In a shocking and terrifying incident, a woman jokingly refused to marry her brother following which in a fit of rage he tried to kill himself, said reports on Friday.

According to reports, the entire family was sitting and talking in a jovial mood when the matter of the marriage of the man was raised. He proposed to marry his sister in front of the entire family. To this the sister refused jokingly.

The joke of the sister however did not go down well with the brother. He reacted in a shocking manner and in a fit of rage he grabbed a sword kept nearby and stabbed himself. The entire family was shocked at the incident.

The incident has been reported from Lakheria village of Banswara district in Rajsathan.

The family quickly reacted and rushed the man to the local hospital and as his condition deteriorated he was transferred to a private hospital in the city.
