A person was found walking on foot with a bag in his hand towards CSP Colony. When he seemed suspicious, the police reached him. But, his intention was to see the police patrol. When the police caught him and interrogated him, he told that he was a Maoist who had come to the carbon belt city to revive the banned Singareni Karmika Samakhya (SIKAS), the leading organization of the Maoist party. Avinash, a science (infirmary) graduate, was running a printing press in his village and came in contact with the Maoists when they approached him to print documents and leaflets. He joined the team two years ago and has been working for it. Recently he reached Godavarikhani following the party’s instructions to restore its control in the carbon belt area. They seized some cartels that contained Maoist ideology and propaganda.
