Raipur. Raman Singh has expressed grief over the death of 5 people including the bride and groom. He wrote on Twitter, the pain of such an accident on a happy occasion like marriage is unimaginable, I pray to God to give peace to the departed souls and strength to the family to bear this grief.

Let us tell you that a horrific road accident took place in Janjgir-Champa district on Sunday morning. A car returning from a wedding was hit by a truck, in which five people including the bride and groom died. The car was going from Ramgarh towards Akaltara. The incident took place in Pakaria forest of Mulmula police station. Local people informed the emergency service dial 112 about the accident.

The police reached the spot and with the help of the people present at the spot, pulled out the badly damaged car with great difficulty. Dial 112 ambulance took them to Ramgarh Community Health Center, where doctors declared everyone dead. After this the bodies were sent for post-mortem. According to the information, the deceased were returning to Baloda after attending a wedding. The truck driver left the vehicle and fled from the spot.
