Ratna Bhandar of Puri Jagannath Temple needs inspection: ASI

Puri: The Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) has said that the Ratna Bhandar of Puri Jagannath Temple needs to be inspected at the earliest.

It is worth mentioning that, the Puri Srimandir Ratna Bhandar was last opened in April, 2018 and its physical condition was found to be weak back then.

Furthermore, five years have passed since then but no repair work has been carried out so far. ASI further added that the Ratna Bhandar needs repair.

An affidavit has been submitted to the Orissa High Court in this regard by the ASI superintendent. The superintendent further added that, repair work will be done after getting a directive for Orissa High Court.
