Relief amount of Rs 1 crore released to dependents of persons who died due to corona

Raipur. On the initiative of Revenue Minister Tankaram Verma under the leadership of Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai, an amount of Rs 1 crore 07 lakh has been allocated to 14 districts for the year 2024-25 under the State Disaster Relief Fund to provide grant assistance to the dependents of persons who died due to Kovid-19.

The allocated amount includes Rs 10 lakh to Rajnandgaon district, Rs 3 lakh to Dhamtari, Rs 29.50 lakh to Durg, Rs 3 lakh to Khairagarh-Chhuikhadan, Rs 46 lakh to Balodabazar, Rs 50 thousand to Kondagaon, Rs 50 thousand to Balrampur, Rs 50 thousand to Kabirdham, Rs 2 lakh to Korba, Rs 3 lakh to Balod, Rs 2 lakh to Bemetara, Rs 3 lakh to Mahasamund, Rs 3 lakh to Manendragarh-Chirmiri, Rs 1 lakh to Gariaband. This amount of grant assistance will be distributed through DBT or bank account of the concerned beneficiary or dependent.
