Remaining EVM machines deposited in strong room

Korba. Voting for the second phase of Chhattisgarh Assembly ended peacefully. After this, EVM machines were deposited in the strong room till morning. The strong room has been sealed in the presence of the District Election Officer and election observers. Now the fate of the candidates will be decided only after the election results on December 3.

These voting machines were brought from all the polling centers to the strong room built in Late Visahu Das Mahant Memorial Hospital. The machines reached the polling stations in the urban areas quickly but it took a long time for the EVMs from the polling stations set up in remote areas to reach the strong room. The process of collecting EVMs continued throughout the night. After collecting the machines, all the strong rooms were locked and sealed in the presence of the District Election Officer and election observers.
