Ambikapur. The news of ban on Libra waterfall in Ambikapur district of Chhattisgarh has come to the fore. The way here was also barricaded. According to the information, there were complaints of fighting in the group of minors at Libra waterfall and 1 girl died due to drowning at this waterfall. Due to these incidents, there were continuous complaints from the villagers.

In fact, after the dispute in village Libra waterfall of Ambikapur’s Darima police station area and the death of a 15-year-old teenager due to drowning in the waterfall, the police have banned going to the waterfall in view of the security. The video of the fight between two groups of minors here also went viral. On the other hand, in the past, the villagers had complained about the ban on coming here in view of the huddang happening on the day. In view of all this, the Darima police have closed the road leading to the waterfall by placing barricades.

Significantly, Libra Waterfall is adjacent to Ambikapur city. Girls and minors reach the waterfall with their friends and relatives. At the same time, many times anti-social elements also create ruckus by reaching the waterfall. Fearing hooliganism of anti-social elements and any untoward incident, the villagers of Libra village had lodged a complaint with the Darima police station. After this it was decided to close it.
