Retired soldiers started cycle journey
Janjgir. To make people aware about the problem of increasing pollution and to promote the use of bicycles, three retired army personnel have set out on a bicycle trip. All three soldiers are residents of Nashik, Maharashtra. He is undertaking a cycle journey from Ayodhya to Kanyakumari via Ram Vanagaman Path. His journey is of about one and a half month. One of the objectives behind this journey is to promote the use of bicycles on the lines of foreign countries, so that the environment can be safe and pollution free.
The retired soldier started the cycle journey from Ayodhya about 10 days ago and on Sunday, after traveling about 1 thousand kilometers, he reached the district via Mulmula-Pamgarh via Bilaspur Masturi. Seeing people riding sports bicycles on the way, the villagers welcomed them, after which the retired jawan moved ahead via Shivrinarayan route. The soldiers told that after retiring from the army, they have done similar cycle journey many times to make people aware.
