Review of transformation works of Samleshwari Temple
Sambalpur: VK Pandian, the Chairman of 5T (Transformational Initiatives) and Nabin Odisha, conducted a comprehensive review of the progress made in the transformational efforts at the Maa Samaleswari Temple in Sambalpur today. With the temple’s development works now in their final stages, the state government is determined to see them completed by the upcoming month.The Chairman of 5T arrived at the site at the early hour of 6 AM to assess the advancement of the projects alongside senior officers from the district administration. During his visit, he engaged in discussions with both the temple’s servitors and officials from the executing agencies. His examination encompassed various facets of the project, including the construction of the new temple entrance gate, the development of the parking area, the construction of a podium, the implementation of a queue management system, the establishment of a cloakroom, and the beautification of the temple surroundings.Several other works are in progress, such as the creation of a vending zone, an information center, a pilgrim facility center, and a temple facilitation center. With more than 70 percent of the development already completed, the 5T Chairman urged the officials to ensure that the remaining tasks are finished by the following month. During his assessment, Pandian also engaged in discussions with the staff of the Temple Trust Board.
In addition to reviewing the temple’s development, the Chairman of 5T also evaluated the ongoing Mahanadi Arati project along the riverbank. He emphasized the need to expedite this project as a significant portion of the work still remains outstanding. Among the officials present during this visit were Manoj Mishra, Principal Secretary IT, Vir Vikram Yadav, Works Secretary, Collector Ananya Das, Trust Board Chairman Sanjay Babu, and other senior dignitaries.
